Evanescence是来自美国阿肯萨斯州的一个组合，由其主唱艾咪发起组织，以“女版林肯公园”为旗帜，并自称“黑暗摇滚”，大受好评。

Willian Boyd - 贝司手年仅20岁、拥有冷艳外型又冰雪聪明的女主唱艾咪（Amy Lee）从一出现就备受瞩目，这个个头矮矮的女孩拥有许多鬼灵精怪的想法，该乐队被誉为“女版林肯公园”的冠军主打曲“Bring Me To Life”不但出自她的手笔，连MV的拍摄设想都是艾咪一手炮制的。 艾咪出生在一个摇滚爱好者家庭，父亲是电台主持，母亲早年则是摇滚歌手，艾咪注定从小就与芭比娃娃游戏无关，她很小就热爱唱歌，自学了九年古典钢琴，小学开端就担任了唱诗班的领唱，不过，艾咪强调自己最想唱的还是摇滚乐，深受比约克和多莉·艾莫丝的影响。 对于童年的回忆，艾咪说自己从小就是一个戏剧皇后。她喜欢制造故事，她喜欢躲在厨房里玩耍，然后幻想着妈妈认为自己的死了打电话把警察叫来，当妈妈没有那样做，她就会不停的哭。 这样戏剧性的设计同样用在了音乐上，Evanescence为即将上映的电影《夜魔侠》电影原声带演唱了两首热门单曲，其中冠军单曲“Bring Me To Life”是艾咪和同门师兄团12 Stones的主唱保罗一同对唱，艾咪透露当初是她认为这首歌一定要男女对唱的版本，才能符合剧情。没想到这样的设想，让他们如此成功。乐队组成和艾咪的关系 Evanescence的四位成员都来自美国阿肯萨斯州，乐队的组成和艾咪有着巨大的关系。早在青少年时期的一次夏令营中，团中词曲创作及灵魂人物Ben Moody于一次偶然的机会中，听到宛如天使一般的艾咪躲在角落以钢琴自弹自唱Meat Loaf的歌曲“I'd Do Anything For Love”，当场被她收放自若、强烈多变的声音和表情深深吸引，要知道，当时艾咪才12岁！ 在Ben的游说下，Ben与艾咪便开始用Evanescence这个名字开始共同创作，并自己出资推出了一张EP，其中一首长达7分钟哥特式的单曲“Understanding”深受当地电台DJ的喜爱，争相主动播放此曲，虽然此曲受到非常大的回响，但却没人知道他们是何许人也，也不知何处能联络到他们，因为当时只有本与艾咪两个人，没办法完成一场完整的现场表演，但是他们的才华被Wind Up厂牌赏识，另外两位成员的加入使天使的美梦成真。乐队的主打旗帜 乐队的主打旗帜是“女子版林肯公园”，光是这个宣传词就足以调起很多人的胃口。首张专辑《Fallen》（落入凡间）曲风虽以探讨黑暗面、一些阴冷、哥特式摇滚、并结合重击猛拍的摇滚调性，但却呈献较正面的意识型态，并加入类似音乐精灵Tori Amos、才女唱将Sarah McLachlan等人率直极具感染力的音韵，在这一点上与重说加流行的林肯公园乐队极为相似，也正是这一相似使他们和林肯公园一样获得了极大的商业成功。 在本专辑的歌曲中，艾咪的唱功得到了很好的发挥，无论是在“Bring Me To Life”中运用自如的高音部分，还是在“Whisper”中低声的吟唱，都使我们不得不肯定其扎实的歌唱功底。艾咪的嗓音浑厚略带沙哑，宽广的音域，多变的音色，加上这位颇有才华的女主唱美如天使的面庞，他们没有理由不走红。 专辑中的歌曲大多在一阵滑顺琴声中揭开序幕，紧随其后的则是吉他弦音带出厚重节拍，而后艾咪那令人惊艳不已的嗓音则慢慢飘来，交错流窜着吉他、琴声、弦乐等曼妙音符的编配都相当顺畅动听，富于创造性的配器使其音乐在介于黑与白，坚与柔，疯狂与催眠之间存在着微妙的平衡。凄美的幽柔共鸣，带给你久违的音乐感动。 “黑暗摇滚”与艾咪 自称为“黑暗摇滚”的Evanescence，主要的歌词创作者是艾咪，在这些歌词中，我们可以感觉到始终被一种阴霾的氛围所笼罩，曲风中体现出的女性所独有的阴柔之美也无处不在。它仿佛为你展开了一片诡异而绚丽的女性心灵世界，不仅能从中窥见女孩们所共有的一些细致的情感，还能从中发掘今天更为自由独立女性的某些精神侧面。当然，歌中也向人们展示出了另一种色彩，听者不难在歌词中发现艾咪这样的女孩所暗藏的野心。 女性摇滚一向是受到争议的话题，以女性为主的摇滚之风也愈演愈烈。作为这股风潮的新新人类，年轻的艾咪表示她在探讨黑暗、爱情与绝望等人性话题，艾咪说：“我想让人们相信，在所有悲伤，痛苦与生命高低起伏的过程中，没有人是寂寞的。这就是人生！在必经的风雨历程中，我们并不孤单。”但是，早熟的艾咪也不可避免的流露出超乎想象的伤感，艾咪经常把“我年轻的时候”这句话挂在嘴边，她总是在说“我真的不再年轻了”，艾咪现在最喜欢的乐曲是莫札特的“安魂曲”，她不喜欢花钱购物，至今买得最贵的一件衣服是在主打曲MV中穿的2500美元的裙子，对于这样一个几乎不食人间烟火的女孩，也许只能套用形容70年代跨掉的女孩的一句歌词：“当泪水滑过，青春已逝。” 关于乐队风格问题 关于Evanescence是否是一支哥特金属乐队一直有争论。
一般认为他们是一支流行化的哥特金属乐队。确实，他们的金属声可能不够纯粹，古典化的哥特气质显然也不及欧洲乐队突出。但是主唱Amy Lee的演唱技巧、创作才情和比较哥特化的形象风格是一直受到肯定的。我们可以发现，在Ben Moody离队之后，他们的作品已经不那么商业化了，很多乐迷不喜欢，但从这些作品里我们分明可以看到Amy更加成熟了，并且是努力地希望乐队向哥特靠拢。我们应当相信她会越来越好，给予她尊重。他们音乐中那股涌动的黑色暗流分明一直存在。我们无可否认，拥有自己的风格总是比盲目模仿要更值得称赞。

这是一个并不广为人知的音乐人，在挪威因为新专辑的singer/songwriter精彩的MV获得了大奖而受到关注。
Egil Olsen以Uncle's Institution为名发了三张专辑，包括2002年的《Brand New Fool》，2003年的《Everything A Man Can Dream Of》，2005年的《Walkie Talk To Me》，以及2001年至2004年一些凌乱的作品组成的《Brand New Fool》。
轻柔的吉他、平缓的节奏，还有温润连绵的嗓音，不紧不慢，隐伏着伤感的慵懒情绪，那些简单的音符都沉缓地滑过，好像来自尘嚣之外。和所有的独立小清新一样，没有繁复的编曲，没有驳杂的音乐元素，在形式上呈现出极简的音乐风格。
Egil Olsen的歌曲同样也会被定为深夜闲听的作品。
边听音乐，边看歌词，能被他打动的不仅仅在于声音的温暖，优美，还有真实吐露人生的欢乐和黑暗。每天旅行在欧洲的国家，带着自己的吉他，每天穿梭在旅店和大街小巷，看到形形色色的人和事，让Egil Olsen多了些人生的看法，而记录下这些片段最好的手段便是把他们都写下来。
要说Egil Olsen的吐音上让我觉得这个挪威小子唱歌表情一定够夸张（其实不然，而是很投入，很真诚）。虽然知道Egil Olsen的人并不多，不过在本国因为新专辑的singer/songwriter精彩的Mv，获得了大奖，其实这Mv也说不上有多华丽，多精彩，但就是那么朴实无华的表演还是赢得了大家的认可。
特别值得注意的是Egil Olsen在他的官方网站上免费提供了他过去几张唱片的下载，非常全，又是一名无私的艺人，当然其实我更喜欢这张唱片的他，很静很舒服。
